It's significant to note that getting one's ya ya's out, for those unfamiliar with the term, has to do with behaving in a manner of explicit affrontery to, ahem, polite society. I peeved one reader a bit when I made the side remark that this was less technical than previous albums. He's right due to the way I worded that remark. This album is still filled with Nile's technical skill, the proper thing I should have said was that the band at times slows it down and lets the riffs crush and stomp about.

This week we learned of the passing of Ken Ober , who died at the very young age of 52. Over the last few years, Ober was a mainstay behind the television cameras, as producer of comedies like Mind of Mencia, and The New Adventures of Old Christine . However, for many of us who grew up in the 1980s, Mr. Ober was much more than that.
